WHY DONT THEY KNOW
Why don’t they know I just want to love them
Why do they draw away
Why don’t they know I just want to be friends
Why don’t they want to stay
Why do they think I have an agenda
That there is nothing hidden at all
That I just want to be there for them
To pick them up if they fall
Don’t they know I won’t reject them
That I really really do care
That I just want to be with them
To have a lovely time and to share
I am really struggling I am trying to understand
Why they don’t know I just love them
That there is nothing underhand
Why don’t they know where my heart is
That my love for them is true
I would be there to help them if there was something I could do
Why don’t they know I just want to love them
Why do they draw away.
