Our Word
Sometimes never weighs a conscience kept.
Instead, lost in our humanities with consequence
It becomes this sad, old and open book
Now trying to stand tall,
Open to within the very width of its initial compromise in our suppose
With pages weeping, openly bleeding, a pouring out while still bloodily red
Our Word,
Forever inked and indelibly set
Yet, never having forced given or said
