My Love For Ya

I’m going away for a while today
I just wanted to say
I leave my love for ya

In this little rhyme
You can read from time to time
Full of my love for ya

I will leave you with a kiss
Similar to the bliss
Of my love for ya

I will leave a hug
To keep you snug as a bug
In my love for ya

I will leave my heart
From you it shouldn’t be apart
It’s full of my love for ya

I will send you flowers
Look at them for hours
Petals full of my love for ya

If I go over the ocean
Then I will send a potion
Of my love for ya

Over land, sea or sky
It’s always going to fly
All my love for ya

When I return to you
I’m going to stick like glue
Cause of my love for ya

Hello Owen, awe... thank you for the personal and loving feeling.. A graceful way to send your love while one is away. I image the return will be worth the wait... and about that glue... LOL... send me a bit of it.. I need to glue my fiance to my side... okay, that was silly. Your poem is charming and sad at the same time... cause I never wish to part with the one who loves me this much.. It is painful just to think of it... always~ LINDA
