In Shadows

~In Shadows~ Shadows are formed between rays of light Leaving a mysterious image in our eyes Having us wonder what exactly is in sight Shadows create another journey in disguise Shades of colors all blended into black silhouettes Trees no longer look like the trees we see in the day time Instead we see images of long fingers we never met Only in shadows that light left behind Is all that we have once seen changed before our eyes? Taking on a different life on their own Into a dimension where we can’t recognize A dark and secretive world created in shadows Phantoms walking their paths along the ground Are they the people that we know in the light of day? Or are they ghosts from a world that light found In shadows that bring them life in a different way You see a pair of eyes staring at you from deep within the woods Is it an animal, a person, what exactly is looking back? In shadows, nothing is quite understood That is, the dimension between white and black...

    The visible spectrum's range is extremely narrow. Everything moves in waves, but anything with a lower frequency than red or a higher frequency than violet cannot be seen. Nice way to describe what we can see which in reality is not a whole lot.
