SILVER LINING

?The day my Silver lining vanished away?

I was traumatize,
After walking through the bedroom door.

No movement, or sign,
Not one single breath left behind,
the canvas has been painted black.
Not a single image on the wall,
I took one last gasp----- of nothing,
No hint of musk in the air,
Silently, I stare, to the unknown
The positive aspect, gone,
My unseen benefit is missing,
The absent suitcase,
The only clue!
The burglar took it all,
the garbage stood alone.
This is not my home.

Chaotic, disconcerted
After walking through the bedroom door.

So barren. Must have felt totally screwed over. What a devastating experience this must have been! I certainly hope it didn't happen to you...but if it did, hey, something was taken and something was given. This poem. Thanks for sharing with us. I can't wait to read more from you PD! Always, Laura

I think that what you are doing really does help you to deal with your loss-- I can only imagine what must be going through your minds-- but yes, you are right, there is no other Bael, I hope Royal just lives near you, so you can see each other any time and you have Ezzelle-- how is the cutie pie? oh and yes, isn't that just funky when that happens? opening poems that sort of reinforce your own feelings??

This would be a terrible thing to walk home too! You have it all then all at once... it's just gone. Hope this is just fiction and not a real event. Well written either way... it makes me think of how temporary things really are.

Hi Pd, had surgery this past Monday and am lying around feeling sorry for myself.hope you are well. Can't seem to write now. Feeling sorry for myself helps a little rather than not feeling anything. I need to write again and wanted to thank you for your support.
