Wild days wilder nights, it is hard to let them go. I love the movie Henry And June because I relive a time in my life as I watch it.On the other hand I love my wife and the life I had with Her. More now that she has died! Keep your wedding ring David . And love everything in its time. Rock On Michael

I like the life moving through the poem, you can see someone walking through the halls, someone getting drunk in a bar, but having the motivational music, and heading towards a better life. I like it, thanks for sharing.

An interesting poem, David... and an interesting (complicated, with twists and turns) form... my how life proceeds (also complicated with twists and turns)... Terry

Complicated pattern. Is there a sprinkle of dark humor in there? Haha...Well done again, David.

Awe! David... your poem took me on an interesting level. How does one decide what to drop? Your life has seen and made it's own choice by the looks of it. I love that the wedding ring was the best time you found through it all... exciting aren't we... love~ PD

A very interesting form you showed us. I can't quite imagine the poem was describing your own life per se, but maybe some elements of it? I especially like the last stanza!

Very much enjoy this write, David! It is as though we walk a path and discover that it will swerve and twist as we move forward. I'm having trouble with these twists, I keep hitting the curb.:) David, this certainly sheds light and hope...even the dredded thought of flying is pushed aside! Keep well, Mikki

I really like this write, it tells of what everyone faces and how a simple thing like your identity changes from childhood to adult hood. Does it really have to I often find myself asking? I love the idea on the new form very creative and you made it work bravo! have a great day :) cory

A nice creative write, oh but it is much more than that, and to begin, it's honest, glad I didn't miss this one, have a great day David, and I agree about being unconventional, I never did fare well with conventionalism, I had too much of it growing up, at this age David, it's time for the real soul to explore new frontiers. love xxx
