About This Poem
Golden Button
A button I found
In the grass on the ground
And I wondered whose button it was
I saw it was old
It was plated with gold
But I wondered whose button it was
That button was worn
It was looking forlorn
As if wond'ring whose button it was
The button I kept
With the button I slept
As I wondered whose button it was
