About This Poem

Winter's Sunshine

*Winter's Sunshine* Winter’s sunshine will transform Snowflakes to a diamond’s glow Leaving the cold left to warm A canvas painted from sun kissed snow* Winter’s sunshine brings to life Its roses that blossomed with weakened thorns Giving strength to each rose in order to survive Their cycle of life from whence they were born* Winter’s sunshine rests On the shoulders of every bare tree So they won’t stand to feel their nakedness Only to be able to shine in the rays of hidden beauty* Winter’s sunshine reflects Beauty transformed in a winter’s rebirth Thus taking away signs of nature’s neglect To spread diamonds tints on a blanket covering the earth*
