~You Were Already There~
So many years has gone by
Still I searched for you everywhere
A true love I believed that someday I would find
Little did I know that you were already there
You always knew what to say
To soothe everything that I was going through
You always decided to stay
Whenever love left me broken in two
Suddenly came the day when I had to let you go
To support you emotionally on your wedding day
Then it occurred to me that the one person I love so
Is the one that is going to be taken away
I just had to run over to you before it was too late
I had to somehow tell you what I was feeling the whole time
To convince you that marrying him would be your biggest mistake
For our love had already blossomed while I was too blind
So I ran up to you at the altar not having a care
I looked at you with nothing but love in my eyes
I told you that the love that I was searching for was already there
That it was her, always at my side
We got married that day, embracing our hearts so sincere
Realizing that in order for love to blossom it must grow
For while that was happening, you were already there
Waiting so patiently for me to help us grow…
