About This Poem

Homeless

Homeless In close proximity of the campfire, our mind as pallid as the grey of winter’s snow laden sky, we sit huddled: trying to erase the shivers of winters last frenzied blast, contemplating nothing more than the heat and the dance of the flames as they lick frozen fingers no longer wearing iced mittens. Great poem about the homeless. I lived in Chicago for many years and saw a lot of them, warming themselves around a fire. I always helped whenever I could. Now they get morehelp from the Government. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

Within their souls they live together warming eachother against the weather. Humanity's cold icy stare just melts away when love they share. Blessed be the poor and lonely, for with God's love they're not the only. Awsome inspiration Debra. Love the narrow arrangement.

I was going to say: "I can't imagine living like that!" But actually, I can. Very Vividly Portrayed!

I love it! It's interesting how the title changes the concept of this verse... it could be a romantic poem. Good one, Debra! Ruben.
