    This really is beautifully written Frank... it shows who you are, both the person you were in your younger days, and also the person you've become... always seen in little glimpses... but always there.

    frank, what a brilliant way to do petals in the wind. It's unique and very interesting. I saw that one poem of Sharon's and it was really cool. I didn't see it on your last winners list. Maybe it is on another one. But I saw you had congratulated her on a win, so that's great that she entered and won in one of your contests!

    I am with Ruben, the ending stanza is such a perfect conclusion to this piece.

    It seems so far away...these times long past..I think we fill in these times with new memories, older one's graciously giving way. Enjoyed this, its "precoucious puberty" not lost on the reader...lol
