Yellowing Hope

Collecting letters that one day will become yellowed
Writing about long walks and remembering late night talks
Recalling of moments, sudden glimpses and smiles
I might be old fashioned but I still admire passion.

And I will wait until the real excitement comes
To bring miracles and scenes that would offer to be relived
Till then I will write and till then I will daydream
About our days that will count as the best of my life.

Excuse me for I cannot be as naive as a lady starring in a film
This decade has taught me that people are now too free
Reality is not what is hidden in the story or in that screen
So what makes this so hearty is the distrust of the other party.

If the expected is not to come true then say there is no hope in you
I can keep writing and dreaming, and lying, and describing
Because the determination is way too strong, I know I am not wrong
Never will mind waiting for the whole, even while being alone.
