Silence

unspoken secretive
voiceless whispers
shrouded in mystery,

anonymous thought’s
soundless feelings
willfully unknown,

nameless witnesses’
withdrawn memories
ever distant moments,

oft silent messages
mysterious signals
called a marriage.
