The Vacancy

Slowly my world shatters
Unravelling all around me
Inside my heart is
Cold, empty, broken
I have fallen apart completely
Drowning in the waves of sorrow
Everything I once was is swept away

Great acrostic poem... It would be tragic should something foolish take such talent from us.... Stay and let us show you love...Jake

I agree, the fuel for writing often comes from our darkest moments in life. If you think about doing it, that's fine, but if you do it, I'm afraid I'll have to kick your butt. (lol) Life is too precious to end before it's time my friend. Always hang in there, and write it all out.

Haha I wont. It was a month ago or so and I'm doing better. And agree, life is too precious.

Sometimes our world feels like this, but it will get better. I've been the lowest of low and can relate to this poem. Good write.

I agree completely. Our darkest and happiest feelings can fuel life to our writing. And Thanks.
