Splendors of Hope
Splendors of Hope
Hope is a light
Shining through a window
In the darkness of the night
A compass that shows us where to go
Hope is a smile
From one person to another
Sending each other warmth for awhile
To our sisters and brothers
Hope is the sunshine
That reflects within us through cloudy days
Allowing the stars above to always shine
From our souls in a peaceful way
Hope is the fire
That drives a weakened flame to light
To once again shine like a diamond we admire
Never to give up its splendorous sight
Hope is always found
It is never forgotten or lost
For the presence of Jesus is always around
Who died for our salvation on the cross
