About This Poem
Happy New Year
Hope this world will see a little peace
As tragedies continue to unleash
Problems that we need to solve
Praying with a new resolve
Yearning for a trouble free world
Never giving up as disasters whirled
Even as typhoons, tsunamis swirled
We got back on our feet.
Yet again, the human spirit prevailed
Entering the new year, as cries of death wailed
Aiding life as life was assailed
Remembering little souls,sadly everything else has paled.
In remembrance of all kids who have lost their lives.
