A Page Turned

A Page Turned Our lives are changed in chapters after a page turned Memories left in a flame from earlier embers once burned Each day is encountered a trail that destiny lead us to follow Living for today of finding the dream for us to live by tomorrow A heart beats from life within while the chapters of a life unfold Telling a legacy of a person who has gracefully grown old Showing messages of wisdom through a journey in hope a soul will return In echoes of timeless memories in a flame from earlier embers once burned A page turned expresses moments already past A page left to be read holds memories that will last Thus the soul reflects his purpose through a page turned Leaving a lasting imprint to someday return

I can empathize with the metaphor, life is like a page turned, within which, some we treasure, some we dump and others we burn.genuinely enioyed reading

This poem is similar to your other poem, Hidden Pages, which means it is significantly glorious! Of course they are different, and have different messages, but are of a similar concept - pages! I just loved reading this enlightening poem this afternoon! What an outstanding piece, Great Work!!
