SHREDDED PROSE

Exquisite
moments
                   float
                    to
and fro
to
              and
                   fro
as
a
               feather
on
a
         breeze
                this way
and
that
              then
                   settle
as
a
letter
                  upon
                   memory's
welcome
door
                    mat

Hi Brian, love the format and the words. Such a gentle poem. I wonder at the second to last word... what I wonder is what the word welcome would do... certainly, the words and memories are welcome, yes? ;-) I was only asking as often we have a conitation to the image of door mat... being a door mat... I do so love this and that is why I made the suggestion... I'm only apt to make suggestions on pieces that become a part of me :) Hope you are well... and that you wife is doing well, too. Hugs
