About This Poem
Smarter than a Smart Phone
I feel left behind in the race
By not keeping up with the pace
I don't text at all
It makes me feel small
I hang down my head in disgrace
Even monkeys can text on their cell phones!
What the world thinks of next? Must we be clones?!
Every eye looking down
With a smile or a frown
While I stare off in space, all alone!
I resolve now to stretch my horizons
I resolve how to text, I will try one!!
I will not be annoyed
so will purchase a Droid!
Am I wise enough to use Verizon??
