Your body feels the rhythm
In the beating of the music
Moving every limb
Making sense of each lyric
It’s a language that you speak
By creating graceful body lines
Pointed toes, body sleek
As you make your star shine
A split leap through the air
Looks like you’re flying
Precise actions, feet bare
To be perfect you keep trying
You’re born with dance in your veins
It’s a talent, your gift
Pushing through cramping pains
But in the end you will lift
This is what you live for
To dance, to live, to express
The passion comes from your inner core
The love of dance you can’t suppress.
