a deflated balloon

Was she a dream
Or was she real
Makes no difference
How I feel

She once was here
But now she's gone
Makes no difference
Right or wrong

She's my life and death
Perfume with in my breath
Makes no difference
If I long

I'm still here
But she's gone

A reminder that you are still here and she is gone. Life is not always fair as to who stays and who goes but that is life. Nicely done with this poem. I think I am all caught up reading your poems. love phyl

I am so sorry to “hear” it. If it true and not just a poem then It is tragic and more tragic cannot be! I am so sorry. Personally I believe in afterlife and have written some poems on the subject as LIBERATOR and REINCARNATION among others. For over thirty years I am dealing with the subject and have met mother who have lost their children and husbands and vice versa. She is THERE existing, waiting, overlooking over you! Your writing is marvelous and have enjoyed it! Thank you!
