Fog's Curtain
~Fog’s Curtain~
Moonlight rays is burning the fog below
To leave a sense of nostalgia in a mysterious view
It will bring everything back to life in shadows
In everything we are accustomed to
While the fog’s curtain is lifting
It reveals a nature’s canvas scene
Welcoming the snow for drifting
Leaving a display of diamond’s sheen
A canopy of stars rest up ahead
Looking down on the town at its beauty
Knowing that tomorrow the sun instead,
Will reflect this wonderful night’s scene
So next time the fog rolls in
We will know what remains to show
Each time the fog lifts its curtain
It will display a portrait, one we will cherish so…
