About This Poem
A painting incomplete
Good battles bad and my chest it lacks of air
And I’m slipping on my own steps thinking I must dare.
Pay attention you’re the watcher quotes a voice inside the haze;
How will you find escape trapped inside this maze?
I know that I’ve been loyal ask them they all know;
I know I’ve make mistakes and I guess it maybe shows.
But am I to change the colors painted on the page?
That’s pretty hard to do when you’re swinging from a cage.
I’ve looked for combinations picked with pins and nails;
But wouldn’t bow to false hoods designed to make me frail.
I’ve swam the rivers of confusion clung to desperate lines of hope;
But God will never let me stop and tells me I must cope.
