Cheung Chau

I wandered near the South China Sea
Beside gray mist that beckoned me

For on the island of Cheung Chau
The Dragon Lady told me how

To find the treasure hidden there
And return home with pockets bare

caleb, I feel silly if I had asked you that before about your war paint!! Probably I told you before too, that I had a smidgen of the Cherokee in me. I think half of america says that about themselves!! But truly, my mom always told me I looked like an indian princess to her!

I agree with Andrea's comment below - This is such a unique piece. It especially resonates with me because I was in Taiwan recently for my brother's wedding. Your couplets really do evoke the mystery of the Chinese culture.
