About This Poem
Stardust and Moonbeam
Celestial bodies pin points of light
Punctuates the purple-black of night
Stardust dancing shimmering bright
Stargazing brings me much delight
Moonbeam's golden rays of light
Descends its beam this night
I wish I may I wish I might
Climb upon its beam so bright
Stardust cloaks me with its invite
Hair streaks with star trails of light
My fingers adorn with gems so bright
Eyes twinkling from this magical sight
Stars dimming from daylight
A dream vision within the night
Awaken I must in morning's bright
A finger still wears a pin point of light
