Sunset Avenue
I didn’t think I would make it through
I thought I’d never reach
sunset avenue
now it’s all but gone away
now it’s just the end of another day
did I really go straight on through
sunset avenue
where will tomorrow lead
certainty is what I need
too many more miles
to get my purpose through
so many more miles
someone tell me what to do
nothing ever went
exactly as planned
I guess I will start over and try again
