About This Poem
A Flower Once Bloomed
A Flower Once Bloomed
Upon wilting petals remain
Journeys they spent in nature’s sunshine and rain
Life as it knew it blossomed in full bloom
Petals that danced from the wind in beautiful view
Fighting to keep its petals strong
A flower refuses to surrender from whence it belongs
As it recaptures days spent in the warm sunshine
Warming its colors so rich and divine
To cherishing days of endless rain
Where it was able to get quenched once again
So the seed of its soul in the end, will remain in the ground
Long after the rest of the petals are no longer to be found
Leaving memories of its lifespan of a flower once bloomed
So it may get the chance to live again, soon…
