Living In Sunshine
Living In Sunshine
If the sun didn’t shine tomorrow
Will we still see its warm light?
Or will we face a sense of sorrow
Knowing that the sun is not in sight~
They say even on a cloudy day
The sun is still shining through
It’s just those grey clouds that get in the way
Or is it our doubts that stop us from seeing its hues~
If the sun no longer refused to shine
Will we remember the life in us that it used to bring?
Could we continue living in dark times?
Living in sunshine in our memory~
So today I’ll stop and embrace
All the beauty the sun has given throughout time
I will hold my hand up against my face
Where it left its warm light behind~
