Three Little Lines
It wasn’t much really
Just three little lines
Wishing me well
And a happy holiday
And God’s blessings
Nothing romantic
Nothing ecstatic
Nothing nostalgic
But to me….
To my longing heart
Those three little lines
Spoke volumes
Of a friendship renewed
A hurt forgiven
A wound healed
A chance taken
To believe again
That in the end
Love does conquer all.
Three little lines….
But what a BIG impact
On this little heart of mine!
