My Desk

My desk was once a fallen ancient tree,
And I was never what I want to be.
My heart was once a sheltered enemy,
Until these walls were opened up for me.

And now I write my heart into its grain,
This desk is strong and manages my pain.
Your halo heart to which I will remain,
Upon my desk until you come again.
