Reasons to Live
Give me restful sleep
And peaceful dreams
Instead of heart-rending visions
Which chase away my serenity.
Give me reality,
The luxury I had never known
Instead of this web of lies
I have grown to call my home.
Give me a new earth
With prosperity ever spring,
Not this ball of fire
That burns deep beneath my skin.
Give me a whole new universe
Where fears are non-existent
And happiness will finally hug me
Without putting up a resistance...
