David - The title alone makes me shudder. I think this is the last day of funerals and I hope our town will be quiet again for the families although it will be too quiet. The faces of the children and teachers will hang on but not with laughter. You've gotten to the horrible suddenness while the world around that school went on. Your three last lines are so painful. love, Kathy
