Beyond The Trees - Rondelet

Grass waves in trembles, all alone

Beyond the trees

Long shadows creep from twilight's throne

Beyond the trees

Where sun takes leave and stars are honed

Nay a whisper, nor farewell tone

Beyond the trees

Poor grass...out there all alone...just waving...loaded with strong scenes of my favorite setting--outdoors. Then u leave me wondering the magnificence of Twilight's throne...unimaginable beauty! gwendolen :)

Carrie this is beautiful as are all the poems you write---there is that special something about phrasing like Sinatra could do to a song that many others have sung before but his version was---well---special. Have a very Merry Christmas Carrie !
