The Job of the Elves
We have a huge responsibility
That many do not understand
They think we tinker in our unity
In a snow-dressed wonderland
But our jobs are more than that
We prepare more than toys
We make sure the big guy has his hat
And is ready to surprise good girls and boys
We may not be very tall
But we help get the job done
For if we stalled
Then the toys--there would be none
We love our job, it is no secret
We make sure there is happiness
And an abundance of the Christmas Spirit
