Black Widow

You ever watch a spider crawl,
Across the web it spun,
Balancing as if a fall,
Could never have begun...
Delicately across a line,
Much thinner than a thread,
Taking more steps at one time,
Than you or I could tread...
Entangled in the web she weaves,
That traps my very soul,
Which dangles in a net she leaves,
So she can eat me whole...
Saving only parts of me,
That get her thru the night,
Craving upon ecstacy,
Till there's no appetite...
And when the widows had enough,
She sinks her fangs much deeper,
Just to get the other stuff,
Still hard enough to keep her...
