Robert; You have explained this so well. We learn something everyday. I have learned a lot this morning. A poet writes because thatis what he likes to do. I also have a poem here on the same thing. That's why I read yours today. ( Who Is A POet ) Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

I would like to explain my theories. Television portrays all scenes before the viewer. When radio was entertainment… listeners would draw their own mental scenarios, from what they heard. Depending on age, listeners explain the scenes according to their stored knowledge of life and education. Each may well explain scenes differently from one another. Words written or handed down by scholars, are likely to be interpreted in the same fashion. From generation to generation the stories can vary.

What a great view on all aspects of poetry...how cathartic! Every line is filled with truth.
