December Dreaming
This is a good month to take up old battles
with the chance of victory before the new year
and now in this December I fight for dreams
Old dreams I thought I had given away
Like dignity and philosophy and chemistry and libraries and poetry and hope
if the theme reappears so often it is only because the inspiration behind it has lasted so long
this month I fight for dreams before the new year
and set my ship to this new late current
