A Flame Once Burned
Tell me when tomorrow’s arrives you won’t miss
My presence by your side
Tell me when we kissed
It didn’t make you come back alive
Tell me that you and I meeting up again
Was just a mistake
I know deep inside, you and I are much more than friends
Its chance baby we have to take
After all, destiny always seems to find a way
For our two hearts to beat together again
If we don’t take this chance, someday
We’ll be left wondering what could’ve been
So tell me, could you walk away and never return
After all the chemistry that we ignite
Tell me that we are just a flame once burned
That blew out on one lonely night
Then, I’ll walk away and tears will follow
