About This Poem
I Fall On Knees ,I Beg For More
I Fall On Knees ,I Beg For More
Blue and brown, beige and black, green and grey,
His Kindness, a bounty, windfall to earthlings plain.
Nature for us, the gallant folks, a bliss.
Abused in tatters, bloodied blasts, gory, to the grave.
Benevolence, thus paid back, for us ignorance is bliss
Phantom hopes loomed in webs banal, dawn to dusk.
Then fall on knees bow and pray for more -of His Kindness?
Mehnaz Veetil
contest entry for, Kindness.
