About This Poem
Vicious
Awaken not Satan's vicious scorn,
A solitary wish thou nay be born.
Eyes to a soul’s obscure emptiness,
Within a confession of unbless.
Words to condemn a sinful heart,
From heavens grace to vacate a part.
Sin and remorse will nay appeal,
unavoidably high price conceal.
The angels shun a watchful eye,
To those that worship a sickened lie.
Sallied soul most assuredly will weep,
Shorn of grace withholding heaven's keep.
Thou discontent of the chaos of life,
not lessen with evil's deceptive strife.
Ne'er pique Satan's vile curiosity,
For thou wilt awaken the monstrosity.
Cleave to grace with all that is true,
Endow thine soul with enlightening virtue.
