End of it All

Alone in thoughts
Alone in mind
Bound so tight needs to unwind
Steaming pot about to blow its top
Contents unknown and shouldn't be
shown
Deepest dreams and aspirations
Lost to the simplest temptations
Cannot undo what's already been done
Constant ringing in the ear like the sound
of a gun
Turn up the music to drowned the noise
out
People gather around for the heavy bout
Those who were once trusted now ready
to watch the fall
Counting down to the end of it all
