Release Me
Release Me
Snowflakes cascading on my face
Blocking the trail of my tears not to be seen
Somehow the snow brought me to a beautiful escape
As if it knew I asked for it to release me
Sunshine brightens my frown into a smile
Shining its rays of hope right back to me
Somehow the light from the sun that stood awhile
Already seemed to know to release me
Raindrops sprinkle into my eyes
Where teardrops used to be
Now transformed a window of paradise
When rain released me
Grey clouds try to uncover
The smile that I now show so freely
Soon they too shall discover
A way to release me…
