Moonstruck
Somewhere yonder
When the fiery sun sets for the day,
And the night,
lurking in the wings of darkness,
Sneaks upon the weary world,
I go out with a crystal jar
And collect glowworms.
With stars for my eyes
And wind for my wings,
I ride upon the waves of the breeze
And rope in the footloose Moon;
I bring her home
To set me ablaze
with her warm silvery glow!
