About This Poem

My Little Stone

Past remnants of happy children
Are engraved upon this little stone
All the years after, where I have been
I have found peace in my little stone

Of all the times I grasped it tight
Playing tag and catching snails
Holding when I was scared at night
That little stone that never fails

Years have gone, friends I've lost
Money I have made, but i'm still alone
I feel the chill the slight hard frost
Every time I hold that special stone

Great read, reminds me to find strength in the little things that I can hold onto.
