The Stranger In Me
The soul needs remain anonymous
Like a stranger you and I
No need to presume to be presumptuous
Less the need for truth and lies
To be living is to be judged
By you or another, even a self
The simplest without touch
The hardest without wealth
Have you a life with a soul in?
Alike sleep with a dream to remember
And did you remember what it mean?
Or rather reality is the only answer?
Amongst the many to barely be
Have we not always look in ourselves for the answer?
With the many strangers to everyday see
Are we becoming ourselves or ourselves lesser?
When even a soul betrays
A stranger is likely to pass you and I
There are words, if only to say
Less the need for truth and lies
