Great read... I've solved that problem... If I don't have the cash... I don't go shopping. This year the TV broke down so my Hubby is doing the shopping (for the new TV) for one big family gift... Actually it'll be a small TV, but it'll give a lot of family time, no matter the size. LOL...

I like your take on the expression "money burning a hole in your pocket" With plastic it's a lot harder to see until you get the bill.
