About This Poem
'At Peace'
~
Shall I throw roses on your grave
Or quiet flowers that I saved
Or perhaps a simple meadows growth
Of sleepy, tangled Angel's Breath
The soft snow will be your blanket
You died driving like a rocket
The crash was really your fault
That is the reality of my world
~
Faded now are the flowers on my grave
Amongst the trees, I whisper
I rest in eternal sleep, dear heart
I am sublime in Heaven forever
My one regret, is my death too soon
It was my fault, to die this way
It was my fault, can you forgive
The rain that falls my tears of love
I wait beneath the pure white snow
~
