About This Poem
Nature's First
Nature’s First
Nature’s first rain
Quenched the earth
To strengthen against pain
From harsh storms rebirth
Nature’s first snowfall
Covered the ground in protection
To shield under the ice wall
From the weight in its shiny reflection
Nature’s first leaf
Started the beauty of autumn time
That later will blow into a nearby reef
Painting the ocean in its sublime
Nature’s first sun rays
Brought light in the existence of shadows
That later will warm the rest of our days
From its veil to block the darkness to show
Nature’s first rainbow
Gave the world a sign of hope we need
To this day we haven’t let go
Of a symbol filled with creed
