I set out on a journey
A literary journey
Couple of months ago
Seeking for where I could express my literary prowess.
Many criticized my works
Many appreciated my works,
All but made me better
Keeping the literary spirit in me alive.
In my long enduring quest
I stumbled on “poetry soup”,
Great works, great literary pieces, great minds;
This made me stronger,
En kindling the latent poetic skills in me
Skills which had gone down the drain with time
Now I am a new me
Poetry has made strong
I love poetry.
