The Dark and The Light
In this endless fight
Right here with me
But I'm alone tonight
I hear no music
No sound of tears
But I feel the fight
So near
I quickly sit up
But all is still
But I hear the echoes of fear
"Come with us, and you'll be free"
I hear the transgressors call
But if I go with them
I will surely fall
So I try to move
To step away
And find i can't move at all
For some reason
I don't understand
This scares me most of all
I cannot move
Cannot blink or try to call
So here i stand
Between the fight
And wish i were alone tonight
